Characteristics of Polyurethane Reactive Hot Melt Adhesive (PUR)

(1) Solid content is 100%, contains no organic solvents, does not cause environmental pollution, and is an environmentally friendly adhesive.(2) Low application temperature, the melting temperature of PUR hot melt adhesive is lower than that of general hot melt adhesives (170-200°C), and it can be applied at 100-150°C, saving energy and reducing the corrosiveness of the application equipment, especially suitable for bonding heat-sensitive materials (such as plastics).(3) It can form a quick bond with high bonding strength. After bonding with PUR, there is no need for tape or clamps to fix, and the bonded objects can be fixed in a short time, thus quickly transferring the assembled parts to the next processing step and improving work efficiency. At the same time, the adhesive after condensation and hardening can still undergo subsequent moisture curing and cross-linking reactions at room temperature, significantly increasing the bonding strength.(4) Single-component packaging, convenient to use; PUR does not require mixing when used, avoiding the risk of dosing errors, ensuring construction quality.(5) Excellent performance; the cross-linked structure after moisture curing of PUR greatly improves its performance, with excellent resistance to high and low temperatures, water, chemicals, and solvents.
